    Biosafety provides an efficient software solution for managing biological use and reaching compliance. Researchers, Institutional Biosafety Committee members and EH&S staff all have access to different components of the system based on their job functions and needs, allowing all users to accurately and actively manage Biological Use Authorizations throughout the lifecycle.  The IBC Meeting agenda builder and ability to track comments between EH&S and researchers, facilitates use authorization revisions and the approval process.     Unmanned Aircraft Systems Management (Drones)

    UC Drones was developed in 2016 to create a one-stop shop for Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) oversight and management. It was designed with the goal to develop a culture of safety and accountability in the use of UAS by providing a means for everyone to be kept up to date with regulatory compliance, safety guidelines and best practices, and provide a system for users to organize and manage their flight activity, their flight time and time-in-type as well as track aircraft performance and issues.

    UC Drones is in continual development and continues to benefit from suggestions from end-users for enhancements and improvements.  Future planned enhancements include further real-time features such as weather reports, notifications of impacts to airspace, airspace deconfliction, campus property scheduling, and LAANC integration.

    In order to do this, the system provides the user with the ability to register pilots and aircrafts and then complete flight requests that are reviewed by Drones administrators. Detailed functionality includes:
